How we focus in our hobbies
When we have a hobby for something, its almost like an overwhelming desire. Hobbies keep us active and happy, though there is another thought process we deal with, and that is being focused. Most hobbies we like to do well in (if they are competitive hobbies), even if we know we can lose. A marathon runner will train for weeks or even months before the event takes place, just so that they know they stand a chance in the race, but also because they are teaching themselves the correct mentality and focus for that hobby; as well as bettering themselves.

A hobby is considered to be healthy and leisurely. It engages the individual’s/groups brains into gear, and allows us to carry out activities that we all enjoy. There are some though, who get obsessive with their favourite hobbies. One of the most unhealthy hobbies an individual can have, is eating. We need to eat in order to survive, though for some people, its the taste and look of the food that encourages them. Eating a lot of fatty foods and increase cholesterol and increase the risk of a heart attack. Those who eat a lot, and appear as such, are known as obese.

Some people like the relaxed approach to life, which other neglect. This can come in the form of gardening. Most people who like to garden, are usually older (due to the maturity of the individual), and therefore more often than not have the time to tend to their back and front gardens. A gardener can spend days tidying the mess which is accompanied with their gardens. It is a strange hobby, as it can only usually be carried out when the garden is untidy, which may not help with the gardener’s needs. Some people even garden as a part/full time job.

Oddly enough, a type of religion can be a hobby, as well as a form of faith. There are so many religious cults and cultures around the world today, and each has its own form of faith towards the deity, or enlightenment. Christians will go to church to pray to God, which they do because they enjoy it, and because it allows them to connect to their deity. That isn’t all though, Christians will organise events in the church or at other locations with people who attend the church (for example, picnics, football matches, walks etc). Buddhists, on the other hand, will meditate to relieve their mind of stress and insecurity, which they do because it stimulates their mind and body, and because it helps them reach enlightenment.
Old Traditional Hoobies | Comment (0)Extreme types of hobbies
Most hobbies are normal in society. Football, swimming, running, cycling, walking and for some, working are the general hobbies in society. There are hobbies which go to the extreme lines though. Types of extreme hobbies include: paragliding, jumping out of planes, motor sports and skateboarding. Individuals whom like extreme types of hobbies are no different to those who like normal hobbies, though there is usually a bigger lust for competitiveness in these sports. People who jump out of planes are placing their lives in danger, though for them, they have most likely had the training, and get an enjoyment out of such activities.
